On Tuesday, May 7 the New York Alliance for Medical Aid in Dying will be hosting a press conference in Albany to put pressure on the New York State Legislature to advance and approve the New York Medical Aid in Dying Act (A995/S2445) before the end of the 2024 session.

We want as many advocates and supporters as possible to join us to demonstrate that the majority of New Yorkers want to have access to this compassionate end-of-life care option, should they qualify for it!

New Yorkers have waited almost a decade for this bill to become law, so let’s make 2024 the year it passes!
