Rhode Island: Submit a Letter to your State Senator!
The Lila Manfield Sapinsley Compassionate Care Act (S2051) received a hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee. After hours of passionate testimony, the committee recommended holding the bill for further study.
This means the bill is still alive, and it can be voted out of committee later in the session. Committee members will now review testimony and determine whether to move the bill forward.
The Senate Judiciary Committee has heard your voice. Now, we need the Rhode Island Senate to hear why you support Death with Dignity.
Please submit your letter to the State Senate in favor of S2051!
Just add your name, add your own language to the letter, and your letter will be sent to your State Senator.
