Massachusetts: Tell your State Representatives to support H2505

On March 18, the Massachusetts End of Life Options Act (H2505) faces a critical committee deadline. A few days ago, House Speaker Ronald Mariano and Senate President Karen Spilka held a news conference where the issue of medical aid in dying was addressed.

Both legislative leaders said there were strong feelings on both sides, and they need to hear directly from members as the March 18 Committee deadline to move bills approaches.

We need your help! Take two minutes to write a letter to your State Representative urging them to support H2505 and be your voice in the Massachusetts House. Here’s what we need you to do:

  • Ask your Representative to talk directly to their House colleagues on the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing to vote to approve H2505 and keep the bill moving forward this session.
  • Tell Speaker Mariano that they support H2505 and will vote in favor of it when it comes to the floor of the Assembly.

Just add your name and address, write your letter, and it will be sent to your State Representatives.
