Thank the New York Legislative Champions!

New York’s moment is here! Governor Kathy Hochul officially signed the New York Medical Aid in Dying Act into law on Friday, February 6.

We are deeply grateful to our legislative champions who brought us to this moment: Assemblymember Amy Paulin, former Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal, and Senator Gustavo Rivera. They steadfastly championed this bill—guiding it through the Assembly and Senate and ensuring it ultimately reached Governor Hochul’s desk to be signed into law.

Take just two minutes to write to Assemblymember Amy Paulin, former Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal, and Senator Gustavo Rivera for their leadership on the Medical Aid in Dying Act!

Just add your name and address, write your letter, and it will be sent to the New York legislative champions.
